JOB OPENING

PART-TIME POLICE DATA CLERK I

 

 

The Burr Ridge Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Part-Time Police Data Clerk I.

 

This position performs a variety of routine, complex, and confidential clerical work; including but not limited to answering non-emergency phone lines, providing walk-in public assistance, data entry, scanning of all police reports and providing support to Police Personnel.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid Illinois driver's license

  • Excellent Data Entry skills and proficiency in modern business applications; including but not limited to: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access Database

  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Visual acuity equivalence to perform competencies

  • Hearing acuity to perform competencies

  • Ability to successfully complete the Department's screening process

 

Starting Hourly Rate:

 

 $14.92 per hour

 

Regular work hours for this position are 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM, Monday, Tuesday and alternating Wednesday, totaling 40 hours in a two week pay period.

 

Additional hours may be required due to training, vacations, and emergency situations.

 

Part-Time Police Data Clerk I is a civilian position that requires an individual who has attention to detail and is comfortable in a fast-paced position and is able to work independently within a team environment.
