FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC EXAMINATION The Village of Hoffman Estates is accepting applications for persons interested in testing for the position of FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC.
Starting salary is
$50,411 (Effective 1/1/08) plus other excellent benefits.
Applications will be
available Monday, September 8, 2008 (8:30 a.m.) through Monday, September 22,
2008 (4:30 p.m.), and
must be returned no later than Friday, September 26, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. A $20.00 processing
fee (cash or check only) is required, and payable when the application is picked up. A mandatory orientation
session and
1.5 mile run will be conducted on Sunday, October 5, 2008. A written exam will be
administered on Sunday, October 12, 2008 and the Physical Agility Phase 2 exam will be
conducted on Saturday, October 25, 2008 and Sunday, October 26, 2008.
