Responsibilities involve answering 911 calls, emergency & non-emergency phone lines & radio channels; dispatching/tracking fire, medical rescue units to all emergency and non-emergency calls, and dispatching/tracking other City departments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Willing to work 12-hour days/nights shifts including weekends & holidays

• Must be able to handle confidential material in a professional manner

• Crucial to this position is the ability to handle multiple duties simultaneously under extremely stressful conditions

• Keyboarding, computer skills and knowledge of Windows are required
