POLICE OFFICER EXAMINATION

VILLAGE OF NORRIDGE, IL

The Village of Norridge Board of Fire and Police Commissioners will be accepting applications for persons interested in testing for the position of Police Patrol Officer.

Qualifications include:

• Citizen of the United States

• High School graduate with a minimum 60 hours (A.S.) additional education from an accredited College or University, or 4 year B.S. degree; Law Enforcement studies preferred

• Eyesight at least 20/20 corrected, without any color blindness, or other eye abnormality

• Must have attained their 21st birthday and be under the age of 35 by the application close date of (8/9/08)

• Must have a valid drivers license

Beginning salary $45,260.00 to $69,270.41 based on 2080 hours annually.

Applications will be available as of July 14, 2008 (9:00 AM) and must be completed and returned to the Norridge Village Clerk no later than Saturday, August 9, 2008 (12:00 PM).  A $25 non-refundable application processing fee is required and payable in cash, certified check, or money order when the application is picked up.
