In order to test for the position,

you must have the following:

  • FFII with Hazardous Material Awareness Paramedic Certification (or currently accepted in Class providing proof of enrollment) at time of test

  • Must have Paramedic Certification at time of hire

  • High School Graduate or equivalent

  • A valid Illinois driverís license

  • U. S. Citizen

  • Be able to read, write and speak the English language

  • All applicants must be 21 years of age at time of test

  • All applicants over the age of 35 years must comply with Illinois Statute 70 ILCS 705/16.06

Applications are due no later than Thursday, June 12, 2008 by 4:00 p.m.  Must be delivered in person to Station # 1 Administration.

All certifications must be obtained on your own time.

All candidates must provide a copy of their current CPAT Card to the Plainfield Fire District no later than Friday, August 15, 2008. CPAT testing may not be dated prior to January 1, 2008.
