announces testing for the position of Patrol Officer

on October 27, 2007 at 9:00 A.M. at:

Minimum Requirements: 

  • All applicants must be 20 years of age and not yet reached their 36th birthday.  There are certain exceptions to the age limit if you are currently a certified police officer in the State of Illinois.

  • Applicants must pass the physical agility test (POWER)

 

Salary Information:

  • Current starting salary for the position of patrol officer is $33,000.00 per year

  • Starting salary is $1500 per year higher for applicants with a Bachelor Degree

  • Starting salary is $750 per year higher for applicants with an Associates Degree

  • Salaries are negotiated by union contract and are currently in negotiations
