The written test will consist of general knowledge, memory skills, math, spelling, vocabulary. POWER testing to be completed at Joliet Junior College (JJC), Joliet, IL - fee required.

 

 

Residency Requirement:

 

Patrol Officers are required to reside within thirty (30) mile radius from the intersection of 183rd Street and 80th Avenue within twelve (12) months of employment. Employees who choose to reside within the Village limits will have the benefit of project 75.  Residency in Indiana is not permitted.
