Firefighter/Paramedic Minimum Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship
• No Felony Convictions
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 21 to 35 years of age by date of hire unless otherwise exempt by statute
• Illinois OSFM Firefighter II or Illinois OSFM Basic Operations Firefighter Certificate
• IDPH Paramedic License
• CPAT and Ladder Climb verification by date of application deadline (valid if issued 3/19/2020-3/19/2021) 

Testing Information:

Itasca FPD will be offering in home testing to all eligible candidates the week of April 26, 2021.

There will be multiple sessions offered and each will be proctored virtually. Testing will take place during business hours on a weekday. Eligible candidates will receive an email with instructions on how to schedule and prepare for the exam. Additional information will be provided to those eligible to test.
