• Starting: $54,491.90 (Current top patrol rate is $96,915.04)

  Benefits:

  Lateral Officers start at the benefit rate of a two-year Officer

  Those Benefits would be comprised of:

  • Pay Rate: $54,491.90 Starting (Current top patrol rate is $96,915.04)
  • Vacation: Two Weeks/Not to be used until after Field Training
  • Holidays: 10 Paid Holidays

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be under age 43 to apply
• State Certified Police Officer or Waiver if certified outside of Illinois
• Have 2 (two) years previous police experience in good standing within last 4 (four) year period
