POLICE OFFICER CANDIDATES

The Board of Fire & Police Commissioners of the City of Wood Dale will conduct examinations to develop an Original Appointment Eligibility Register for the Police Department.

The Board is accepting the first 300 completed packets consisting of:

• Police Officer Application Form
• Signed and Dated Waiver and Release Form
• Birth Certificate
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Naturalization papers (if applicable) 

returned online on or before July 9, 2021

Applicants must attend an Orientation Meeting and Written Examination at:

Wood Dale Jr. High School

8 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021

Applicants must be United States Citizens and must have passed their 21st birthday on the day of the Orientation Meeting, (August 28, 2021), and not reached their 35th birthday, as of the posting of the final Eligibility Register (estimated October 2021).

Applicants will be subject to the Rules & Regulations of the Board, which may be viewed at the Wood Dale Police Department.
