Village of Fox River Grove, Illinois

The Village of Fox River Grove (population 4,854) is located in McHenry and Lake County, approximately thirty (30) miles northwest of Chicago.

The Fox River Grove Police Department is seeking an experienced law enforcement professional to serve as a part-time police officer.

Applicants who can work during the midnight shift (10pm – 6am) are preferred. Other shifts and special details will be available to applicants that can provide flexibility with their scheduling.

The pay for this position:

$21 per hour

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Valid Illinois Driver’s License at time of appointment
Valid FOID card at time of appointment
State of Illinois Certification as a Law Enforcement Officer
Previous experience in law enforcement with a municipal, county or state law enforcement agency
