ENTRY LEVEL POLICE OFFICER JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

MANDATORY TESTING INFORMATION:

• June 26, 2021 – 1300 - Physical Agility Test – Pass / Fail
• PAT Pass proceeds to Written Test
• Top 15 will be invited to Oral Exam
• June 27, 2021 – Oral Exam – Times assigned following Written Test

Minimum Qualifications:

• Age – Applicants must be 21 years of age on date of test
• Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED
• A valid driver’s license is required
• Firearm Owners Identification Card (FOID) – Applicants must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid FOID card from the State of Illinois. This requirement does not apply to candidates maintaining their permanent residence out of state.
• No convictions for felony offenses or for crimes involving moral turpitude
