Position Details

The Rockford Park District Police will be accepting applications for full-time police officers.

The department serves the majority of Winnebago County which has a population of 282,572.

Certified and non-certified candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

With over 180 parks and facilities, we have many responsibilities which include major indoor sports facilities such as Sportscore 2 and the UW Sports Factory along the beautiful Rock River, both of which bring in hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
