Position Details

Lateral Patrol (Part-Time)

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Pre-Certified Police Officer
• Be a citizen of the United States
• Be twenty-one (21) years of age or more at the time of application
• Have a High School Diploma (or its equivalent)
• Possess a valid Illinois Driver's License
• Be of good moral character and capable of performing the duties of a sworn officer of the State of Illinois
• Not have been convicted of any felony or crimes of moral turpitude
• Must possess a satisfactory driving record
• Be free from the use of illegal drugs
• Willingness to submit to a thorough background investigation designed to measure the applicant's suitability for police work
