The Village is offering a $10,000 hiring bonus to certified police officer applicants that are in good standing with the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board. To qualify, applicants must have graduated from and Illinois Police Academy within the previous 48 months, pass the entrance process, pass the 18 month probationary period and agree to stay employed at the village for a period of 36 months from the date of hire.
