Position Details

The Village of Fontana Police Department is accepting applications to fill vacancies and create an eligibility list for the position of Police Officer.

Lateral transfers welcome!

This is a sworn police officer position, responsible for the protection of life and property through community policing and through the enforcement of local, state, and federal laws.

Requirements:

• 60 college credits and/or an Associate's degree
• Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification or be eligible for reciprocity
• 21 years of age
• Hold a valid driver's license, with a good driving record
• Have no felony or domestic violence convictions
