General Responsibilities:

Providing each guest and employees with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment to view events through knowledge of Security procedures and facility familiarization.

Specific Duties: 

• Create a safe and secure environment for guest and employees.
• Monitor CCTV, door alarms, alarm systems
• Report unsafe and unpresentable circumstances within the work area.
• Have superior knowledge of facility services and physical layout.
• Promotional Item Distribution
• Guest complaint resolution.
• Incident report documentation.
• Facility policy enforcement.
• Customer service skills
• Inspect and screen employee, contractor, media bags
• Using handheld and walk through magnetometers
• Standing post, walking facilities, lifting items
• Using Security Vehicles for patrols and posts

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability: 

• Must be a positive, outgoing individual able to work well with large groups of people
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills
• Must be able to speak, read and comprehend English
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic knowledge of computers and software related to the Security field
• Must be a positive, outgoing individual able to work well with large groups of people.
• Must be honest and reliable
• Must have strong people skills and able to make firm decisions

Experience: 

• Must have security experience and/or PERC card. Event experience or Criminal Justice studies preferred

Education: 

• High School education

The position requires ability to stand for 3 quarters (¾) of shift. The use of hands, stooping, kneeling or reaching with hands may be required during shift. There may be lifting up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements: color and the ability to focus. Team member are expected to fully perform the essential functions of the job.

The individual is required to walk up and down several stairs throughout the duration of the event. The individual may be required to work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places or work in outdoor weather conditions.

Note:

• Team Member must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have availability to work evening, weekends, and holidays
• Average hours will not exceed 20 hours per week
