Police Officer Minimum Requirements:

• $25.00 non-refundable application fee
• U.S. citizenship
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree or 60 college semester hours preferred (copy of official college transcripts due at application deadline, if applicable)
• Valid driver's license
• 21 to under 35 years of age at time of appointment, unless otherwise exempt by statute
• Must possess a valid POWER test card issued by a certified testing agency and dated no more than 12 months prior to test day. Cards considered valid only if issued between 2/26/2021 – 2/26/2022. You MUST bring your card with you on test day if you are obtaining after the application deadline. 
• 20/100 binocular vision corrective to 20/20; Must demonstrate appropriate peripheral vision; No color blindness

Doors will open for sign in at 8:00 a.m., please arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. with a photo ID (driver's license, state ID, military ID) to sign-in. Testing will be held in Warrenville, IL. Additional details will be provided to eligible candidates.
