APPLICATIONS for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic will be available:

TESTING: 

Written Exam:

March 12, 2022

Must be present no later than 8:30 AM

Oral Interview:

The following screenings will be conducted if the position is offered from the established list:

• General Background investigation
• Psychological Examination
• Physical Medical Examination 

Qualifications:

1. 21 to 34 years of age (except as otherwise provided by Illinois Municipal Code 65ILC5)
2. Must possess a High School Diploma or GED Certification
3. Must possess an Illinois State Basic Operations Firefighter Certificate
4. Must possess an Illinois State Certified Paramedic License
5. Must possess a valid Illinois Driver's License
6. Must pass all testing in the order given
7. A job offer is conditional upon the candidate obtaining a CPAT and Ladder Climb from a licensed agency. CPAT date must be within 12 months of written test date.
