Position Details

Rosemont CSOs are non-sworn part time civilian employees under the overall direction of the Bureau of Support Services and under the immediate supervision of the Watch Commander, Patrol Supervisor, or Traffic / Detail Supervisor.

The Rosemont Community Service Officer's primary functions are traffic and crowd management.

In addition, CSOs may perform support service functions in field operations, security services and administrative functions. CSOs may be called up to assist with natural and manmade disasters, civil disturbances and other related duties as required.
