Position Details

The Village of Matteson is seeking to fill a Part-Time Community Service Officer position in our Police Department.

The Community Service Officer is responsible for routine non-enforcement service functions within the Police Department, such as parking enforcement, animal control, ordinance enforcement, and miscellaneous duties.

The applicant should possess:

• Experience in public contact
• Good oral and written communication skills
• A valid driver’s license
• Knowledge or familiarity with law enforcement is beneficial 

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a background check, drug screen and physical at the Village’s expense.
