To establish an eligibility list for full time Police Officers
Current Department size: 40

Minimum Job Requirements: 

• U.S. Citizenship
• Valid Driver’s License
• High School graduate or GED, (Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice) or Bachelor’s Degree in any field preferred
• Military experience a plus
• No felony convictions
• 21 to under 35 years of age as of August 10, 2019 unless otherwise exempt by Statute;
• Residency required within DuPage County or counties contiguous to DuPage County by the end of 18-month probationary period.

• $28 non-refundable testing fee
• Application available online beginning (Monday, June 3, 2019)
• Completed Application, with all required documents, deadline is 4:00 PM on (Thursday July 11, 2019)
• Must attend orientation, must pass physical ability Test, must take written test scheduled for 9:00 AM on August 10, 2019 at the Westmont Senior High School, Westmont Illinois

Starting Salary for Non-certified Officer:

$68,203.20
