STARTING SALARY
(Based on years of service):
Police Officer Trainee - $20.60/Hourly*
0-2 Years - $22.66/Hourly
2-4 Years - $23.45/Hourly
4-6 Years - $24.27/Hourly
6-8 Years - $25.12/Hourly
8+ Years - $26.00/Hourly
*Employee is considered a trainee if hired as an out-of-state lateral officer and will remain a trainee until AZPOST Certification is received. Once AZPOST Certification is received, rate of pay will change to reflect years of service as outlined above.
HIRING INCENTIVES:
$2,500 Signing Bonus
$1,000 Relocation Expense Reimbursement
Certification Award - up to $2,000
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Arizona Driver's License of appropriate class
