The Harper College Police Department is currently seeking applicants for the part time Police Emergency Telecommunicator position.
The Telecommunicator provides all communications functions, information, and reporting support for the Police Department.
The successful candidates will keep records, logs and schedules of the calls received and actions taken utilizing a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management System (RMS).
You will also handle all emergency and non-emergency telephone calls for the Police Department at all three Harper College Campuses: Palatine, Prospect Heights, and Schaumburg as well as handling all communications via radio and telephone for all campuses.
