All applying must agree to work a minimum of 5-12 hour shifts per month, with at least 1 shift being a Saturday or Sunday.

The Central Stickney Fire Protection District is a Part-Time/Paid-Per-Call department with 40 firefighters in unincorporated Cook County also known as (Central Stickney) in Stickney Township, Illinois. We are approximately 4 square miles located just southwest of Chicago near Midway Airport. We answer over 800 calls each year. The Station is staffed 24 hours a day with 4 part-time members with all further available members responding from home. We are part of the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS) Division 21. Our first alarm auto aid assignments are to the Summit Fire Department, Bedford Park Fire Department and Stickney Fire Department with our Truck Company. Other responses are per MABAS 21 Box Cards.
