Minimum Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship
• No Felony Convictions
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be at least 21 and under 35 years of age on 9/22/2022, unless otherwise exempt by statute
• Must possess a current and valid POWER test card as of application deadline (9/22/2022). POWER test card must be issued 9/23/2021 through 9/22/2022 to be considered valid.
• Be able to pass the written exam, oral interview, psychological, polygraph, medical examination, and vision test.

Orientation and Testing Information:

Candidates must attend the mandatory orientation and written examination on:

Candidates must arrive at 8:30 AM to sign in with a photo ID (driver's license, state ID, military ID). Orientation begins at 9:00 AM and testing will immediately follow. There will be no late admittance.

Wolcott School - Gym

Thornton, IL

Applicants that successfully achieve a passing score of 70.00 or above on the written examination will be contacted to schedule an oral interview with the Commission. All portions of the testing process are mandatory. Failure to attend and successfully complete any portion of the process will result in elimination from employment consideration.
