Police Officer Job Application

Minimum Requirements:

• $25.00 non-refundable application fee
• Must be a citizen of the United States
• High School diploma or equivalent high school education
• Must be 21 years of age, and under 35 years of age at time of application, or as otherwise exempt by statute
• Sixty (60) semester hours of college credit from a regionally accredited college or university
• Valid driver's license
• Valid Peace Officer Wellness Evaluation Report (POWER) issued by date of the written examination. POWER test cards considered valid if issued within twelve (12) months prior to the testing date (November 5, 2021 – November 5, 2022)
• Successful completion of an online application and submit all required documents no later than 2:00 PM on Friday, October 7, 2022

Required Documentation due by 2:00 PM (CST) on 10/7/2022:

• Online Application – available after purchase
• Consent and Release Agreement (2 pages) – available after purchase
• Copy of high school diploma or GED
• Copy of valid driver's license
• Copy of birth record – can include: U.S. County/State issued birth certificate, U.S. Passport, or Naturalization papers
• Copy of Official College transcripts (no unofficial accepted!)
• Copy of POWER test card issued between 11/5/2021 – 11/5/2022 (due by date of written exam) 

Testing Information:

A mandatory orientation and written examination will be held on:

Saturday, November 5, 2022
