Position Details

Hours:

Monday - Sunday

Shifts vary depending on schedule. Some Evenings, Holidays and Weekends required.

Qualifications:

• Individual must possess at least 2 years of law enforcement experience as a police officer.
• Must possess a basic police officer certificate in the State of Illinois or have the ability to become re-certified within 3 months of appointment.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Interested candidates must successfully complete an extensive background investigation. 

Duties:

Under the direction of the Chief of Police or Deputy Chief of Police, the F/T Police Officer shall provide protection of life and property, maintain regular patrols, assist in crime prevention, conduct investigation of crimes, provide public assistance and perform other related duties as required. This is an at-will position.
