Starting: $65,771 with a COLA raise to $66,758 on December 1, 2022
Firefighters work a 24-hour shift followed by 48 hours off-duty.
Kelly Day is scheduled off every 18th duty day.
Compensatory time can be earned for hours worked above the normal scheduled 24/48 shift (overtime).
Firefighters are granted six (6) holidays per year (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, and July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas). These are earned and can be used during the first year of employment.
