Position Details

Part-time positions may lead to full-time positions as they become available.

Qualifications:

Duties:

• Enforcing traffic, criminal laws and local ordinances
• Provide both emergency and non-emergency response/services
• Write Police reports/issue citations when necessary
• Attend monthly court
• Work a minimum of 1-2 shifts, and a maximum of 5 shifts per week
• All candidates must meet the current qualifications through the State of Illinois 40 hour truck enforcement certificate Preferred (Not Required) 

Minimum qualifications include:

• 21 years of age
• U.S. Citizen
• High school graduate (or equivalent)
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• Valid FOID card
• Good moral character
• Good mental and physical condition
• No felony or misdemeanor convictions
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays
