• $35.10/hour ($73,000) - $37.99/hour ($79,000)

Position Details

LCRA is looking for a Ranger II to join our team.

As part of LCRA's Public Safety team, your expertise will contribute to protecting the people, assets, and interests of LCRA and the natural resources of Texas. LCRA Rangers focus on providing patrol, detection, and crime prevention of LCRA lands, waters, and facilities.

You will be trusted to:

• Provide emergency response services, responds to dispatched calls, and performs assignments to protect life and property.
• Enforce federal, state, and local laws, as well as LCRA rules and regulations. 

You qualify with: 

For project positions:

• Two or more years of experience in public safety or law enforcement
• Successful completion of Basic Peace Officer Academy
• Driver's license
• Must be eligible to and immediately obtain Basic TCOLE Peace Officer License
• Requires successful completion of fitness for duty examination upon hire, and annually thereafter
• Successful completion of new hire and periodic Public Safety departmental background check

You are a great fit with:

• Two or more years continuous experience as a full-time law enforcement officer working in a law enforcement department.
