Position Details

The Village of Lena will be accepting applications for Illinois Certified full-time and part-time Police Officers.

There are immediate openings for part-time Officers and we are creating an eligibility list for future full-time positions.

The full-time and part-time positions are open to certified Officers who are currently employed or recently employed by a Police Department and are current with all state required qualifications.

A background check and an oral interview will be given prior to consideration for employment with the Village of Lena.

All applicants must be able to perform normal police duties daily.

You will not be considered for employment if you have any felony convictions, DUI or domestic battery or similar offenses.

Full-time Officers must live within 25 miles of the Village of Lena within 18 months of start date.

The position requires working unsupervised for 12 hour shifts.
