• Starting: $63,360 - $83,557

  Lateral officers begin at the Step commensurate with prior years of full-time law enforcement experience, up to Step 5. All officers advance to the next step on May 1 of each year.

Position Details

Requirements:

• Employed by a State of Illinois enforcement agency as a FT police officer for at least 2 years.
• Employed within the last 12 months as a FT police officer in Illinois.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must establish residency within 20 miles of 100 North Main, Sycamore within 12 months of the conclusion of probation.
• Any other requirements as outlined in the Sycamore Police and Fire Commission Rules.
