Position Details

The Village of Forest View has immediate openings for the position of Part-Time Firefighter/Paramedic.

Applicant Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• BOF/FF2 Illinois Paramedic License
• FAE - Preferred Will be required to pass pre-employment medical exam and background check

All applying must agree to work a minimum of 6-12 hour shifts per month.

The Forest View Fire Department is a Part-Time department with 38 firefighters. We are approximately 2 square miles located just southwest of Chicago. We answer over 500 calls each year. The Firehouse is staffed 24 hours a day with part-time members . We are part of the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS) Division 10.
