Completed applications and documents must be submitted to the Harvey Police Civil Service Board at the above address by 4:00 pm on Monday, August 5, 2019.

Qualified Applicants must:

• Be a citizen of the United States.
• Be twenty-one (21) years of age or more at the time of application.
• Have a High School Diploma (or its equivalent).
• Possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License.
• Be of good moral character and capable of performing the duties of a sworn officer of the State of Illinois.
• Not have been convicted of any felony or crimes of moral turpitude.
• Be free from the use of illegal drugs. 

Successful Applicants must pass:

• Written examination
• A physical agility test
• Background investigation
• Oral panel interview
• Psychological exam
• Drug and medical screening 

A mandatory Pre-test Orientation will be held on:
