Position Details

The Gurnee, IL Police Department seeks an experienced law enforcement professional to join our team in the role of Public Safety Compliance Officer.

This is a non-sworn, civilian position.

The position is responsible for:

• Processing of public records requests
• Reporting crime data
• Maintenance of records subject to statutory expungement requirements
• Other duties as assigned 

Duties include:

• Acting as Department FOIA officer
• Assisting with National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS)
• Juvenile and cannabis offense records expungement
