Position Details

The Rolling Meadows Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Community Service Officer II.

This is a civilian position which will assist Police Department personnel in duties of a non-hazardous nature in the areas of report writing, animal control, vehicle lock-outs, parking enforcement, traffic control, and staffing the Police Department Service Desk.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Illinois driver's license
• Ability to successfully complete the Department's background and screening process

Bilingual (Spanish) and/or minority candidates are encouraged to apply.

The CSO II position is a civilian position that requires an individual who likes working outdoors in all weather conditions, and indoors in an office or court environment with various tasks and responsibilities.
