Position Details

HIRING PART-TIME CSO

Description:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to patrol on foot at all facilities
• Ability to pass a thorough background investigation
• Proven ability to work effectively and constructively with persons of diverse cultures and language groups
• Medical exam and drug testing
• Be at least eighteen years of age

This position will perform various public services, customer service, and law enforcement-related duties and responsibilities that do not require the services of a sworn police officer.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Illinois driver's license
• Ability to successfully complete the Department's background and screening process

The CSO II position is a civilian position that requires an individual who likes working outdoors in all weather conditions and indoors in an office or court environment with various tasks and responsibilities.
