Responsible for the administration, maintenance, and development of all Police Information Systems.
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in computer science or a closely related field preferred, and three (3) years of progressively responsible related experience preferred or, any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, LEADS, Records Management Software, and all other Department related software.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write articles using innovative techniques. Ability to make effective and presentations on complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or Boards of Trustees.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts and they apply to computer science. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
