Position Details

Our hiring process is designed to be applicant friendly and highly streamlined for efficiency.

We are looking to hire a candidate that is SRO qualified. We are open to sending a highly motivated candidate to SRO School.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age
• No Felony convictions
• State of Illinois Law Enforcement Certification from the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (preferred)
• Possess the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience of a Maroa (FT) police officer to qualify as a lateral transfer (1 year of experience preferred)
• Must possess or have the ability to gain or possess a FOID Card
• Pass an oral interview, in-depth background check, medical physical, and drug screening
