Position Details

FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC TESTING

TESTING REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicants must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age at the time of hire and under thirty-five (35) years of age on the day of testing.
• Certified Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) EMT-B or National Registered EMT.
• Applicants must at least 60 semester hours of college level work, preferably course work in fire science.
• Certified CPAT with Ladder Climb dated no more than one (1) year prior to date of hire.
• Applicants for examination must be citizens of the United States.
• Valid driver’s license.
