Position Details

The HeatherRidge Umbrella Association is seeking to hire a Part-Time Armed Security Patrol Position.

The position is available pending completion of the interview and hiring process.

The Umbrella Association manages all common area for all the sub-associations within the borders of the Community of Heather Ridge. The sub-associations themselves are comprised of a mix of Condos, Town homes, and Single-Family homes with 956 units in addition to a golf course, several recreation buildings and a banquet facility.

Patrol Officers patrol the 375-acre property in a marked patrol car. Officers respond to all calls for service such as but not limited to domestic disturbances, noise complaints, welfare checks, crimes in progress, issue citations for violations and perform traffic stops on private roads for HOA moving violations.

Interested Active Law Enforcement candidates shall have the following:

• Must have Valid FOID card if Illinois resident or ability to obtain one if hired
• Proof of employment as an active LE or IROCC card
• Ability to enforce policy
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must possess the ability to work independently
• Must have shift flexibility

Interested Security candidates shall have the following:

• Must have a valid FOID card if Illinois resident or ability to obtain one if hired
• Must have PERC card
• Must have 40-hour firearms training and Original Firearms Certificate from the IDFPR
• Ability to enforce policy
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must pass criminal background check
• Must possess the ability to work independently
• Must have shift flexibility 

Shifts Available are:

Part Time Saturdays and Sundays from 2 PM - 10 PM

Part Time Auxiliary (fills in open shift and call offs as needed)
