SHIFT DESCRIPTION:
The Dispatch Center operates under two teams of 12 hour shifts, with a 14 day rotation. Shift A: 7:00am - 7:00pm, Shift B: 7:00pm - 7:00am. Week 1 - Work: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Week 2 - Work: Sunday, Wednesday Thursday. Dispatchers are required, on occasion to work 16 consecutive hours and are required to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, and must be available for shift coverage with short notice.
CenCom E9-1-1 Public Safety Communications Center is a Consolidated Communications Center located in Round Lake Beach, IL. Providing dispatch services for seven Public Safety Agencies for primary dispatch of Police, Fire and EMS and also serves as the MABAS Division 4 communications dispatch.
CenCom is seeking full-time 911 Public Safety Telecommunicators to become part of the CenCom team.
