Range: $38.31 - $52.71/hour
This is a collectively bargained position under MAP, Tinley Park Chapter #192.
This position schedule consists of forty (40) hours per week based upon four (4) day, ten (10) hour schedule.
The Civil Service Commission of the Village of Tinley Park is accepting applications for entry level employment for the position of Patrol Officer A-2 with the Village of Tinley Park Police Department.

The Tinley Park Police Department has more than 150 employees, including 91 full-time, sworn positions that are split into two divisions: Operations, which is in charge of patrol, and Administration, which is charge of records and investigations. All applicants must have a valid P.O.W.E.R card dated between April 14, 2023 and October 14, 2023 to sit for the written exam. Candidates are fully responsible for the cost of the P.O.W.E.R test.
