• Starting: $75,834 - $95,757 dependent on qualifications

  Pay step structure maxes at: $113,616 and increases annually; A bonus becomes available after seven (7) years of service, based on performance.

The Village is accepting applications for Lateral Police Officers.

This position is responsible for the maintenance of public safety through the enforcement of State laws and local ordinances. Some duties of this role include responding to emergency calls for service, conducting crime prevention operations, and investigating criminal activity.

A successful candidate will be knowledgeable of law enforcement and criminal justice principles, skilled in the application of federal, State, and local laws and ordinances, and possess excellent interpersonal skills to carry out the essential duties of the position.
