• Starting: $60,107.25

  Top Salary: $104,701.63 after 10 years

  *Currently in contract negotiations between the Village and FOP Labor Council.

Position Details

How to Apply:

• Pick-up an application packet in person at Village Hall from 9 AM - 4 PM, Monday-Friday.
• Must have valid state identification. No fees apply.
• Submit all supporting documentation by the application deadline to Village Hall.

Police Officer Minimum Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age and have not passed their 35th birthday by closing date for application.     
• Possess a valid driver’s license. 
• Possess a Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card at time of hire.
• High School Diploma required.
