The Department has Three (3) immediate openings to fill.

Firefighter/Paramedic Minimum Requirements:

• US Citizenship
• No Felony Convictions
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• 21 to 35 years of age by date of hire unless otherwise exempt by statute
• IDPH Paramedic License at time of appointment
• Must have successfully completed the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) and Ladder Climb Exercise within the one-year period before the date of the written exam (3/9/2024). Certifications are considered valid if issued 3/9/2023 – 3/9/2024.

Candidates must attend the mandatory orientation and written examination on:

Sign-in begins at 8:00 AM. Please arrive no later than 8:30 AM with a photo ID (driver's license, state ID, military ID) to sign-in.

Test will be held at:

Willowbrook High School

1250 South Ardmore Avenue

Villa Park, IL 60181

Park in the Southeast lot and enter door #4.

All portions of the testing process are mandatory. Failure to attend and successfully complete any portion of the process will result in elimination from employment consideration.
