  • $59,011 (with Holiday Pay)
  • $61,837 (1-10 years prior experience)
  • $63,597 (10+ years prior experience)

  Hiring Bonus:

  $7,000 for Certified Police Officer

  ($1,500 paid on the first paycheck, $1,500 paid around 6-month anniversary paycheck, $2,000 paid around 1 year anniversary paycheck, $2,000 paid around 2-year anniversary, must sign contract with commitment to receive bonus payments)

Requirements:

• 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Live within 30 miles radius after 1 year of appointment
• Must have a valid driver's license in Illinois or state of current residence
• Must be eligible to carry a firearm under all state and federal laws
• Must pass background check
• Before any official job offer, required to:
• pass a written test
• perform physical agility testing
