Position Details

The Sheriff's Office is seeking certified Illinois Correctional Officers to join our growing team of professional deputies.

Qualified applicants must:

• Be currently employed by a county or state law enforcement agency within the State of Illinois as a full-time Correctional Officer for at least 2 years and currently certified by the Illinois Training and Standards Board and in good standing with current agency. 

Lateral testing is being conducted on an on-going basis.

Applicants may apply to take the test at their convenience and there is no end date for lateral applicants.
