Position Details

The Berkeley Police Department is seeking experienced Illinois law enforcement officers for available lateral transfer positions within the department.

To Qualify:

Applicants must:

• Be at least 23 years old
• Be currently or recently employed as a full-time (non-probationary) Illinois certified law enforcement officer for at least 2 years 

Residency is not required.

This process will also include:

• Application and experience verification
• Oral Interviews
• Background Investigation
• Psychological exam
• Polygraph exam
• Medical exam
